Looking to fundraise for Safe In Our World, but not sure where to start? Here are some steps that we’ve created to help mould the process from previous fundraisers, and how you can get started.
Deciding on a fundraising event
Whether you’re looking to fundraise solo, in a team or as a company, there are lots of different options on how you can raise funds. From charity livestreams to challenges to bake sales, there’s always something for everyone. Check some ideas below:
Charity Livestreams
The beauty of streams is that the format is completely up to you. They can be art streams, gaming competitions or challenges, Q&As…. the list goes on. What’s fun about streams, is that you can allow audience participation to dictate the stream. For example, for a £/$5.00 donation, the donatee can vote for a poll (which character should you play as next), or each £/$5.00 = 5 minutes of playing the game without being able to jump. The possibilities are endless (and entertaining).
Sponsored Challenges
Perhaps you’re looking to take on a physical challenge, like running/cycling/swimming a certain distance? These can be excellent ways to raise funds, and also raise awareness!
Company Fundraisers
If you’re looking to fundraise as a company or team, bake sales or office competitions are a great way to go. Who doesn’t want cake for breakfast?
